I eagerly await that joyful moment when we'll meet.

It won't be important what clothes you might wear,
Your I.Q., your race, or the color of your hair,
But what will matter most will be your personality,
Your devotion and love for God, and your love for me.

The infinite possibilities of times we'll share
Will be made better because of your care.
Together we will be, as if in a glorious dream,
And God will keep us together: the world's perfect team.

Oh, how I ecstatically wish to be held in your arms!
You'll protect me and keep me from all harm.
When the storm rages and the wind howls threatingly,
You'll be there to guard me and our family.

Yes, fights will happen and insults will be hurled,
But belonging to you will be the best thing in the world.
Children will be born, some handsome and some clever.
Grandchildren next: we'll grow old together.

Dear, do you realize how much I love you?
Does not this poem give you an idea, a hint, a clue?
I cannot express all my feelings to their fullest measure:
It would take more than a million pages to show my pleasure.

Only on God and His principles will our marriage be based.
On anything else, it would be horribly erased.
Through rain or shine in this wild ride,
He will be with us, always our everlasting guide.

But amid these wonderful thoughts, I kneel to pray.
I pray that you will stay pure until that day.
Darling, please hold on, and to me and Him stay true.
This is my hope, desire, and wish for you.

Yes, I am a purity person. And I'm darn proud of it, too. I don't see why the world thinks it's such a bad thing. I have a purity ring and do you realize how wonderful it is to explain what it means to people who inquire after it?

I also keep a journal specifically for my future husband. Anything even remotely related to purity, marriage, relationships, and other things that may be important to him are written down in it. It's a really good idea to start, if you haven't already! Imagine the look on his face once you give it to him as a gift on your wedding day.
